We recognise that people accessing housing-led and community-based services may experience vulnerability due to:

Who We Safeguard

Safeguarding applies across all service areas, including housing provision, outreach, advocacy, befriending and mentoring.

AKO safeguards:

  • Care-experienced young people (18–25)
  • Vulnerable adults, Older Persons (18 and above)
  • Individuals at risk of homelessness or exclusion
  • People engaging through outreach, advocacy and community services
