AKO Inspired Living CIC delivers a coherent, housing-led suite of unregulated services designed to prevent crisis, promote independence and support sustainable living in the community.

All services operate outside CQC and Ofsted regulation, with clear boundaries, defined roles and transparent funding arrangements.

Our Core Values

Services are delivered through commissioned, funded or contractually agreed arrangements. Where services are free at the point of access, this is because funding has been secured.

Housing
Provider Services

AKO acts as a housing provider, supplying rooms and self-contained units to local authorities and partner agencies.

  • Head-lease and managed housing models
  • Temporary, emergency, stabilisation and move-on accommodation
  • Housing pathways for care leavers and vulnerable adults

Care Leaver Transition
& Independence Support

We support care-experienced young people to transition safely into adulthood.

Befriending & Mentoring

AKO supports individuals to build positive community connections and reduce isolation.

Practical Enablement & Daily Living Support

Time-limited, practical support focused on independence, including:

  • Digital inclusion and form-filling
  • Routine building and organisation

This is enablement, not personal or regulated care.

  • Any regulated activities
  • These boundaries are intentional and actively maintained
